In 2007, i attended our orientation program as a year 2 student in pharmacy school. The guest speaker was a remarkable communicator, a consultant, an educator and a pharmacist. He wore a red tie and in his shirt pocket LB was written.
As a young chap who was hungry for more out of life, i was thinking if this man can be a pharmacist plus maybe i can channel my energy to also be a blessing to others instead of just being blessed (a pharmacist). My growth didn’t happen in one day, the journey now spanned 10 years and i am still and will always be a work in progress. However, that day i made up my mind to always strive hard to achieve my full potential and make a difference. The journey is now a decade and that singular decision has helped me to become an inspiration to others too and contribute my own quota to humanity beyond the shores of Nigeria.
